Technical Specifications
1. Cabinet & Exterior Housing
The outer shell is fabricated from 1.2mm cold-rolled steel, treated with acid washing and phosphating, then finished with an epoxy powder coating. This provides excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, rust, and corrosion. The standard color is RAL 7035 (light gray)—a globally preferred lab shade that’s clean, modern, and easy to maintain.


2. Baffle System

Features a three-section, removable baffle design that eliminates dead zones inside the chamber, ensuring efficient capture and exhaust of both heavier-than-air and lighter-than-air hazardous vapors.


3. Work Surface (Customizable)

Available in multiple high-performance materials to suit your application:
Physicochemical Laminate: Resistant to common chemicals, non-conductive at room temperature, and heat-tolerant.
Epoxy Resin: Seamless, non-porous, highly chemical-resistant, and repairable—ideal for aggressive lab environments.
Ceramic: Withstands temperatures above 1,000°C, offers exceptional resistance to strong acids/bases, and is extremely scratch-resistant.


4. Exhaust Plenum

Located at the top of the fume hood, the plenum features a tapered conical inlet that streamlines airflow, minimizing turbulence, noise, and backflow. The exhaust collar diameter is customized to match your ducting system.
