Product Overview
The SCIENTZ-150/150A is a compact benchtop tool expertly engineered for processing biological samples. It combines high-pressure capabilities with a small footprint and user-friendly operation. Equipped with a built-in cooling system and swappable valves, it allows for the fast processing of large samples. This homogenizer is a common and essential asset in bioengineering and drug laboratories for both research and small-scale production.
Working Principle
Material flows from the feed cup into the high-pressure chamber. A plunger pressurizes the sample, forcing it through a narrow gap. This process generates a high-speed jet that violently impacts the homogenizing valve, breaking the material into tiny particles. This highly effective physical process simultaneously mixes, disperses, and crushes cells.
Core Product Features
- High Crushing Efficiency: Material particle size can be uniformly refined to below 100nm, achieving a cell disruption/crushing rate of over 95%.
- Adjustable Pressure: Homogenization pressure is continuously adjustable from 0 to 150 MPa (1500 bar). The operation is simple, and the regulated pressure is automatically restored after venting.
- Temperature Controllable: The built-in cooler structure allows the inlet and outlet cooling connectors to be linked with a constant temperature bath, effectively controlling the temperature rise of the homogenized material to protect heat-sensitive samples.
- High Sanitary Grade & Zero Residue: The parts in contact with the material are made of 316L stainless steel, fully meeting food and pharmaceutical requirements.
- Online Exhaust & Flow Control: Features a built-in venting valve structure for easy material discharge. Equipped with a frequency conversion flow control system to adjust the flow rate as needed.
- Versatile Valve Options: Swappable valves for different tasks, including a diamond crushing valve (ideal for cell disruption) or a Stellite emulsifying valve (for nano-emulsions).
- Patented Design: Backed by invention patents, including the built-in cooler structure design.
